    dont get me wrong, the W7 is a wonderful speaker, but the thing is over priced. However, you question was in what? Your answer is: Elemental Designs 13ov.2 just to name 1.

    3- of their 13kv.2's has the new GA state record in the 301+-900 class. 146.2 DB's

    They are doing a full comparsion to the subwoofers listed, everything will be documented and real results.

    The question was about sound QUALITY, and Pringle busts out with an SPL number...

    SPL is NOT the same as sound QUALITY. Some subs can do both fairly well, but they are typically somewhat different in design...

    Try a Diamond TDX or M6 series sub...
    How about an Image Dynamics IDMAX (good luck finding one though...)?

    I currently have 2 13kv.2's.

    Plus, I said the 13ov.2 is very comparable to the JL w7 in Output and SQ.

    Diamond and ID's are awesome as well....plus some RE stuff too.

    dissagree completely. there are some very quality products for a cheaper price out there, the key is finding which ones are worth a damn.
