Some of you know me, most of you don't but I am getting married to my longtime girlfriend (over 5 years). I just wanted to share that if any of you are thinking of asking that question to consider The Canoe restaurant in Vinings. We had already just kind of talked about getting married and decided to do it. There was no romance or anything and I felt kind of bad about it. So I got a ring for her that she was completely not expecting. I called Canoe and made the arrangements for dinner and told them I was planning to propose. They were excellent. The Chef made a chocolate jewelry box that was very intricately decorated which they placed the ring box inside of. After an amazing dinner we got ready to order dessert, the manager brought over the chocolate box and she had no idea what was going on. I had brought a bottle of champagne that we got a couple of years ago on Valentine's weekend when we had a romantic night at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. We popped the cork on that and really had a wonderful time, now she has a story of a romantic proposal which made me feel really good. End blabbering/
