    Default My Morning...

    Well I wake up to my phone ringing at about 7:00 this morning... The office I work at caught on fire around 5:00...

    It's really sad. It's a Real Estate/ Cabin Rental office. It's a 3 story building. The 2nd & 3rd floor is the Real Estate section (where I work) and the "basement" area is for Cabin Rentals.... Well the fire started on the 2nd floor and basically stayed very well contained but the heat melted everything of importance- computers, desks, files, fax machines, copier, etc...

    Everything downstairs is fine though. Luckily our broker has to have copies of all contracts- and he owns the cabin rentals. Therefore, at least we have those backups!

    Basically the next month of my life will be extremely busy... But Thank God no one was injured and Thank God for insurance!

    They finally let us in to see it. It really was so sad. EVERYTHING was black. It's weird cuz only one office caught fire- luckily we shut that office door last night- but everything else throughout the entire upstairs was melted. Plastic light fixtures had literally dripped down the wall & ceiling fan blades were pointed down. It was crazy to see. The fire marshall said it had to be over 1000 degrees in there.
