    Default sub question

    i just got a used kicker CRV 12" sub, is there a way by looking at it if there is something wrong with it? Can it be bad from being a few years old, like 2 years

    put a meter to it and read the ohms.

    push in softly on the face of it and listen for scraping if there is no sound your good if it sounds like driving down a dirt road the subs blown. good luck. and remember you get what you pay for most of the time. but you cant beat free.

    i paid 40 bucks for it from a guy that i know from school, he just wanted to get rid of it fast because i owed some people money
