    Default European Type R F/S Friends motor

    Up for sale is my friends complete or parting out 98 European Type R B18 C6 motor, and tranny. As of right now the motor is complete and in order. And the motor is built for turbo. The motor has been stroked out to a 2.0, it has an eagle crank, scat rods and weisco pistions 9:1 compression, with king bearings. The motor started to knock today and i took it apart and it is the # 4 rod bearing. The motor has about 5,000 miles on the bottom end and the head has 30,000 miles on it. The bore size is 83mm . I have everything still for the motor to run properly. I even have the orignial crank and Orignial Type r pistions also. I am now parting out the complete swap or selling as a complete swap. Minus the ecu. The wiring harness for the motor is obd 2. He bought a complete car over in Germany and has the motor in his 92 hatch right now. The code on the motor is 0120121 and that is the block code. And there are papers along with the motor from germany too. asking $4000 as is or $5000 if i replace the bearings. It ran a 13.5 w/o turbo.

    hmm those pictures doesn't really describe much.. .. how about a close up shot of the block code....... p73 stamp.. and some kinda symptons of ITR head..

    i dont get why edm shit is so expensive...4k for a block cus it says b18c6 instead of c5 or c1? i could build one of the c1's in my garage, and boost it for way uner 4k...but still bump cus its rare i guess....granted i would love some edm taillights for a dc2..cus they look cool...but stoopid expensive!

    the c6 has 11:1 compression as the jdm type r has 10.5:1. the only difference is the mugen header on the jdm. here are somemore pics

    well if you put low compression pistons in it who gives a shit what it came with from the factory?
