Evo8 vs "750whp" Supra - Video

Silver Supra with no spoiler that everyone was gawking over on Barrett last night, from out of state. Passanger stated the car was boosting 30psi and dyno'd over 750whp. They would not state their mods... take the "750whp" with a grain of salt...

Video explains everything.

BTW - All racing was done on long streches of straight empty roads. The supra was spraying the 2nd and 3rd race. Yes, I realize I would lose to the Supra every single time if we kept racing past 120mph... but I don't feel safe at those speeds on public roads... not that street racing is safe anyways... =]

And the people talking after each clip are my 4 passangers... =]

and that supra didnt have "750"......it didnt even pull on any run, and not saying anything about your car, and i'm sure it's fast.....but aint no way in hell that supra was even pushing 350+......

That Supra was probably just stock. Most of the time when you race a Supra you can hear the turbo spooling. I didn't even hear anything come out of it. 750whp my butt. If that Supra had that much power the race wouldn't be even close. Nice Kill but please don't get to cocky when a Supra comes pulling up beside you. Just go to Batlground and check out the Supra's that come out of that shop. That's where the big boys come out and play.

Stock? Didn't know Supra's came single turbo, with race gas, with nitrous stock... and didn't know supra's pulled like a freight train (end of 3rd clip before he shifts) stock... I've been trying to ask around to see exactly what the Supra had done to it....

Trust me, I'm not being cocky... and I know damned well how amazing a Supra can perform... hell, I knew Dan and seen his car before he even owned a shop... when he was a Starbucks regular... so I'm not ignorant to them.

The Supra is the one who requested to race me... over... and over... and over... and he was the one being cocky 'bout it. I gave him numerous compliments on his beautiful car and he just shrugged them away, asking for more races.

But anyways, it's why I put quotes around "750whp" and said to take it with a grain of salt.

Did that guy have all those things on his Supra or did you actually see it? I'm glad that you took that Supra. I think its about time that people give us AWD cars so credit for once. I wasn't saying that you were cocky.....I'm just saying lets keep humble and rack up the kills without starting a war. But that was A VERY GOOD KILL.

Did you do any more mods since the last time you posted about beating those vettes? Stage 3 right?

If you are still with the same mods as last time (when you raced that Z06), I also believe you had a stock exhaust(?) I would love to give you a run? Dont take it negative in anyway, I am just still curious as to how my car will match up to yours.

I saw that Supra last night.

He said he had a 74 mm turbo. It was pretty big from under the hood. The car was definately built up. From what I could see, cam gears, intake manifold, and some other shit.

That dude in supra probably just can't drive.

doesn't take much of a driver to do hwy pulls... any idiot can hit the gas and shift gears

I saw the Supra last night as well as under the hood.

It is easily capable of 750rwhp, if he told me the correct turbo.

Only thing I added was the electronic dump valve, which I posted a video of on the Sleeper sub-forums.

As of tonight, after dyno'n my car, I've realized a lot of problems I'm having with knock and detonation issues (which, for some reason, NEVER occured last night during those races vs the Supra)... and these issues happen very randomly and not consistently... but as of right now, I definitely don't feel safe driving my car hard while it's randomly knocking... I'll be having the UTEC retuned soon, and maybe an addition of 272/272 cams... until then, I'll be at a nice and safe 19psi (instead of 22/23) and driving slow.

BTW, I'll post up before and after dyno charts after I get re-tuned... the dyno chart tonight has to be the damned ugliest, most f'd up dyno chart I've ever seen... and too bad its my own car's dyno chart... *sigh*, but I will say however, even with the massive knocking and timing being pulled by the ECU, I still managed over 300whp...

Not sure about body kit... but I know it does not have a spoiler. Very large wheels and tires, aftermarket wheels... out of state license plate... very large front mount.

I do not think thats a 750whp supra. If it is maybe he needs some tuning. A BPU supra can bet that Evo That evo was just stock!!!! BPU supra has like 450whp. That supra on the video maybe needs turing!!!!!

I have met plenty of those kind of bullshitters, I have "500+hp" so I can easily spank your 300hp car.....hoping you'd back out......

then again, maybe he does have "750hp" and just never downshifted out of 5th gear.

I don't care but that poopra seems like its not even pushing over 350whp maybe 450whp spraying. My boys supra with a T70 (Dynoed 550RWHP before turbo upgrade) would have pulled at least 10 cars on that evo in a heartbeat. I've done a few pulls with this beast and he leaves me standing like I'm putting the car on reverse. BTW I recently ran a 13.5@106MPH with shitty tires...

see, I agree.....I've seen cars with 500, 600, 700+ hp run, and even with the turbo spooling up, would move lil bit faster than what that Supra was doing.

maybe because of CT's exhaust dump, but I never heard the Supra's turbo really spooling too hard....

but maybe I'm just deaf/

I saw that supra again last night.

He commented on the video and just kinda rolled his eyes.

I saw that car take off...believe me its fast. It should have put a hurtin on that EVO. I'd have no problem believing that on race gas that car would make 750.

i saw the car last night. He said he's running an SP-74 turbo, cams, cam gears, and some other stuff. that car definately makes 750hp easy on race gas. i did see him roll his eyes about the video i was standing right next to matt when matt asked him about the video. that guy just about lost it pulling out of starbucks last night, he was crazy sideways.
