Lots of WRXatl guys coming over here recently. I'm 99% sure the STI already has SS brake lines.
Black mirrors would be hot, you can get the cover plates off subarugenuineparts.com for ~$30.

Yeah, I was either going to do that, or just trade with someone that has an 06' WRX

Its gotta be a TR to have the black mirrors. Install is really straightforward, just pull the doorpanels off and then its 5 screws holding it all together.

Yeah, Alex was telling me that he did that... People don't realize that the "JDM" mirrors won't work... They're ass backwards

Yeah, honestly I like the way mine which are off a black 06 STi look much more next to Alexs which are matte black. They twinkle and glisten whereas his just sit there I've done little in the way of exterior mods to my car but I'd say next to the roof rail deletes, the black mirrors made the biggest difference.

I wouldn't really say that its hard to do... Its just time consuming, and you have to be very patient and meticulous so you don't break anything.
For the 06', you have to remove the three grill inserts, unbolt the headlight assembly, pull it out, remove the bulbs and wiring harness, place in the oven for 15 minutes at 220 degrees, pry it apart carefully, unscrew the bezel that will be painted, paint it, and then just repeat everything in reverse.
