    ok yall ive been doin some searchin for some different things for my "new" del sol and i have found something i HAVE to get. does anyone know where i can get an Ameripol glass targa top? ive seen some pics of them and i really want to find one.
    I need a new project

    they're unbelievably rare and extremely expensive. id cross it off your list unless you want to do some MAJOR searching and spend some major $$$.

    i saw somewhere that people where getting them for like $650 , and correct me if im wrong but thats not much more than the carbon fibre targa top, but i cant find where to buy them anyways

    no, thats what i mean... they werent THAT pricey to begin with, but they're so rare that they go for an arm and a leg.

    Let's just say that I have a VERY extensive collection of rare del Sol parts stashed away... I don't currently have one of those tops, but if you had asked me a month and a half ago I would have.. I sold it for $650 to a guy in Canada. And that was what he straight up offered me. I would have been asking about $600 for it though. I'm trying to see if a shop around here wants to make more of them... it's really not that hard... it's a thick piece of tinted acrylic that's bent a little bit... you use all the stock hardware (interior pieces and handles)... I can't imagine it's difficult to recreate them.
