EMO would be pussy ass indie/hardcore bands that just couldn't cut it in those genres... so they made a sub genre of tight jeans wearing fags who like to cry about their ex girlfriends... Rites of spring, Portrait, TX is the reason, etc.
BLACK METAL are euro metal bands mainly from Norway which are normally extreme metal bands w/ keys/strings... EMPEROR (greatest black metal band of all time), Mayhem, Darkthrone, Cradle of filth...
Cradle of filth is more of the mainstream SOLD OUT versions of black metal, but they still are an amazing band.
It's kind of like seperating Trance/Techno/Happy Hardcore. You can, but why bother?
It's all the same to me. Bunch of guys in black with "The Crow" make-up on. The only difference is that some cry through their songs (emo) while others sound like a kid with downs with a guitar (goth, black metal, ect...).

Black Metal origins are probably the darkest musical genre shit... many bands have helped in the church burnings in europe as well as murder. i didn't say the this band did i said the origins of the music genre... but there is a distinct difference in music genre's Black metal is known for being one of the most extreme b/c of the origins and the antics bands take. I know COF was jailed during a photoshoot infront of the Vatican for wearing antichrist clothing. As far as the music goes its probably some of the best metal around; i've driven states away to see black metal acts from europe

I know she sings a good bit in the songs and I would think she was part of the band. I have heard some of their newer album and she sings a lot in a couple songs.

Other than that, I like them all around
