Charger R/T beatdown
At around 12:30am I was driving down a fairly empty road @60 when I noticed a odd looking set of headlights rapidly approaching from the rear. As I was thinking "wtf is that?" the car switched lanes and passed me at about 85mph. When he passed I saw the hemi badge on the quarter panel, and he had a paper licence tag. Once I realized that it was a new charger r/t, I decided to catch up to him to check out his car.
He was a good 1/4 mile ahead of me before I decided to catch him. I dropped it from 6th to 4th and proceded to catch up to him. As I closed in on him I noticed that the light up ahead was turning red. He stopped at the light next to a altima, and I pulled in behind him.
The light turned green, and he gave it about 3/4 throttle. I quickly passed the altima, and switched over to the right lane. I pulled even with the charger while still in 2nd and paced him for a moment when he suddenly went wot on me. I immediatly punched it, lost traction, shifted to 3rd, and put about 5 cars on him by 100.
I hit the brakes and waited for him to catch up. When he pulled even with me again, I gave him the. He just glaired at me and punched it again from about 70. I hit it also, and took it into 4th gear where I shut it down at adout 115 with him about 5-6 cars back again.
The guy seemed to be pretty pissed. He just kept going after I shut down.
There he was enjoying his new charger r/t, speeding through the boonies, high on the "you'll be king of the street with this thing " bs that the salesman probably told him. When some asshole in a cobra (me) ruined his new car experience.
