Mine was always being made fun of. I guess having a prelude is worse than a civic (or so it sounds from the comments)? I don't get it. No one is like grats on the car. Before it was "why a civic" now it's "why did you get rid of the civic". Oy, I can't win.

I still think the prelude looks better than what I had. = p

haha - you're forgetting to mention that you didnt want to make payments anymore, you wanted ot have a car that was fully paid off, and that it was one of the cars that you've always wanted to get

No it doesn't look like that, but the prelude looks nice. I linked pics of my prelude already captain obvious. I have owned it for less than 24 hours, there is no way it will look like that in that short amount of time. Just showing why I got what I got. Modded preludes look nice, and I can make mine look nice as well with minimum things done to it.

I was trying to post before my wireless connection died. Drive what You want. Dont listen to what others tell ya!! I mean..nothing wrong with a lude at all. If you liked your civic. Shoulda kept it. Despite what other people said! If I listened to what people always said back home about civics, I wouldnt have had 4 of them, and now the CRX lol

hey dont worry - everyone likes their own thing - I like the choice - and personally think its a pretty pimpin color - I mean its like my car - alot of people DON'T like it, others do ( like myself ) - so in the end, all that matters is that YOUR happy with what you got, you have plans on what you want to do, and its one of the cars that you wanted to get ( you didnt budge from the list )- so its alll gravy baby

Man why do you care what people think, just keep it because you like it, when its finish and fast then they wouldn't have anything to say, and its pretty rare to see a fast Lude so keep it

I think the prelude is slower by a lot though. = p At least the car is paid off unlike the SI, so I can actually turbo this bitch. ; )

Now I just have to figure out what I wanna do to this car... I don't know jack about preludes. = p Also, the picture I posted of that blue lude, can anyone identify what wheels those are bychance? They are nice and I wanted to see how heavy they are if I found some. I might just got with Motegi Tracklites otherwise and have them color adjusted the way I want.

diddo, preludepower.com should be your new best friend in terms of technical info., what's available and if you're modding on a budget

congrats on being a 100% car owner, financing FTL!!!! take care of that lude, for they are a dieing breed and coined the bastard child of Honda.

Ask me or Hulud. Ive had my Lude since 2004. I kind know enough about the 4th gen but not too full extent. Hulud might know more about 4th gen vs me I know the 5th gen like it was my butt.

It's an SI. I wanted a VTEC but I didn't want to waste the time finding one in a condition that I wouldn't complain about. I got this one for $2k as it was because the guy's wife was making him get rid of it.

Thanks for the sites. The preludepower one wasn't working when I last checked but I'm definately going to do some research and see what my options are for my engine. If I had the new lude, I'd get a body kit but with this style I can keep it as is which should keep cops off my ass. ; )

PreludePower is up again. It was down for a while, but I guess it's fixed now.

It will be the greatest info bank you will find. It's helped me a LOT.
