If you have not tried starting it then you may be ok because I don't think any would have traveled into the gas line. But I'm no mechanic so don't take my word.

i think so to but i want some prof. advice... i saw the bottle and my tank lid was gone so i didnt even take the keys outa my pocket
do this. jack car up, take off tank, fully empty, research on net how to clean a tank ( what type of stuff, or how to do it) or u may be safe with getting most of it out..
if all fails, do this
with tank off, put a few gals of gas in it, and shake up, then drain.
should get most of it out, then fill with few more gallons and let it idle. if u havent put key in, fuel pump hasnt primered, so none is in.

Mythbusters proved that beach in a gas tank wont kill an engine... if that makes you feel any better. How much gas was in your tank when you parted it? If it was nearly full, then the ratio of gas to bleach isnt that much....see if you can find out the ratio of gas/bleach they used on the show and match it with how much gas you had to a gallon of bleach. If its near the same or lower, then you should be ok. The main problem with bleach in a gas tank is not the bleach itself getting into the engine, its that bleach will rust the inside of the gas tank VERY quickly. Might just want to go to the junkyard and get another gas tank... its about your only option now. Sorry to hear.

never saw that mythbusters. But i would drain it, just for good measure. ANd if your have to tow it. disconnect battery, and then you can put the key in, that way it dont prime.
