    Default IPod Trouble

    Was wondering if anyone has had this problem with there ipod 30gb. I loaded a bunch of music on mine last weekend and when I went to load some more on this morning it deleted my other songs that were on there........ Any ideas anyone???

    lemme guess, u loaded the music on it then deleted the files from ur computer or something? u prolly have auto sync on...

    You have to turn the sync to manual.

    I did have it on auto sync. So I will switch it to manual sync and see what happens.

    When you do that you just have to make a playlist with the songs you want to put on it, select all of them and drag them over to your Ipod. You will have to "eject" it in the system manually too.

    Yeah manual sync otherwise Ipod recognized your one library as its "home" and your songs may be deleted, it happend to me a year or so ago a few times.
    No roll cages, no seat belts, just balls.

    Thanks for the info. I have it on manual sync and it is working fine.
