    Default *** UPDATE ON YOUSEFS DAD ***

    Hey guys, I just spoke to Yousef and he wanted me to pass on some information.

    His dad just got out of surgery and when I spoke to him they were prepping his dad for ICU. He made it through the bypass surgery and they removed the clot that caused the heart attack. So thats good.

    Yousef wanted me to tell everyone he appreciates everyones well wishes and he just mentally doesnt have the strength to get on IA right now and post.

    I will keep you all updated if I hear from him again tonight, But please everyone keep him and his family in your thoughts tonight. The first few hours are always the most crucial after this kind of surgery

    Mike he hasnt been out since this happened, so you havent seen him since this. He has been at the hospital for the past few days non stop staying at his dads side.

    His dad is sedated and on a ventilator right now in ICU which I think is pretty standard after a quadruple bypass.

    Nothing made me feel more at ease today when he called me and said his Dad was done with surgery and he was in ICU. I hate hearing about surgery complications as much as the next person. I wish Yousef's dad a speedy recovery!

    I've been there too. My dad has had 3 heart attacks and has had to have 4 stints put in. Glad he's doing better! Sucks to see someone you love put in this kind of situation.

    open heart surgery is a scary thing. my dad went thru it my sophmore year of high school, and brett's right about the severity of quadruple bypass. yousef, sorry to hear about that man, i know how rough it can be mentally and physically. glad to hear he's doing ok.
