    My friends 6spd Mark VIII and my GC 2.5RS. Maybe not super rare, but at least not commonly modded.

    Wow. It's a Mark not dropped to the ground in the front.

    I like them both. Didn't know the Marks came in 6-spds.

    GC8 FTW!!! i wanted one of those cars for sooo long, i was even talking with a guy at COBB tuning about buying one from him... nice 4-dr... but ended up getting another miata.

    so is the mark8 equipped w/ an 03/04 setup or just a dohc4.6 mated w/ a 6spd?

    I'm not sure what you mean by 03/04 setup. It's a stock Mark VIII drivetrain (dohc 4.6 IIRC) with a 6spd and hubs/brakes from a Mustang Cobra. It's the only 6spd Mark VIII on the planet as far as he knows and he did it all himself. He's gonna turbo it probably once he graduates and gets a daily driver. It's got like 230k miles so he doesn't want to blow it up while it's his only car.
