    Exclamation HELP!! 94 integra ls ignition Timing

    This is my first time attempting to get the timing right. I just put a new distributor and its off timing cause the car tries to start but it kinda of coughs when trys. please any help info will be appreciated.

    put it in the middle. The car should start easily though. Check you firing order

    You can install the Dizzy 1 way an it can move 1/4 turn both ways an will start in any of those ways...you got the ignition firing order off....Its 1-3-4-2

    Could it be 180 off?
    Back to being stock and slow

    NO because the Dizzy will only go in one way SO No...Firing order is OFF

    believe or not it will go in the wrong way. on problems is the second u spin the motor over its going to break the dizzy. now dont get me wrong its not easy to get it the wrong way but ive seen it done.

    you know ive heard people say it goes in "wrong" but ive never been able to do it.

    It either slides in or it doesnt. I mean i supposed if you FORCED it in and ran the bolts down, but ive never gotten it to slide in wrong.

    Usually it bottoms out an wont slide onto the cam.

    Correct...if someone forces it an bolt it down they have to be a complete TARD to do that!
