Default strut tower bar clearance issue....need help.

I just got a new strut bar today, and installed it...the car rides better, and goes over bumps ''quicker'' than it did before....pretty much the bar does exactly what its supposed to. The only problem is, that now i cant close the hood properly, and i talked to someone else, and they said that it kinda looks like the car got into an accident....i need some help...

...strut tower bars are supposed to help keep your strut towers rigid during hard cornering. You must be having a case of NPD (NewPartDisorder).

But, onto your question... you could do a slight cowl on your hood to clear it. What type of bar is it?

#1 NUMBER ONE strut bar from nopi.
Its for the sunfire/cavi, and its slightly curved. I think i might need a flat one.

Aaand, whats a slight cowl, and how do you do it?

Default My Work in Progress...for now...

haha, okay....Sorry if the pics look kinda crappy...They've been taken in my garage....

Oh, and i got a different bar today, exchanged it for a flat one. Haha, i think the flat one puts a lil bit more ''bling'' under the hood... The hood doesn't bulge as bad anymore either.

Actually, now im ready for some more modding! Im only gonna get one part though...something between say...$40.00 and $150.00...
