The Nopi National was actual a really good thing for the Atlanta's car scene because all the media attention it brought, and people travel from all over for it. The problem was it just wasn't able to keep up with the times, and started losing support. Now with it's demise, this would be the perfect opportunity to make an more up-to-date event (or meet). I'm pretty sure if everyone join forces we could turn that weekend around have something similar to Import Alliance. Just look at what Dirty Octopus was able to pull off with just a few weeks and only the help of a few friends. The only problem would be a location and I'm pretty sure there are plenty of connection on IA that could solve that problem. I just want to see if anyone would be down for a replacement Nopi meet because all it really need is support.

Damn... I didn't know it was canceled... Despite the extreme rice that nopi would bring, It would also bring alot of nice rides from around the country. It was like freaknik for car people...

lol. ill chip in like 4 bucks. but i like chris' idea. we could do different stuff. like have somewhat of a semi car show where the winner gets an IA prize pack or something. something like that. as well as if they would allow us, host a drift event and charge like a $20 entry fee for that. something of that nature

It's not about trying to top it. Basically, Nopi put Atlanta on the map each year in the car scene. Now we don't have that anymore. So we need to keep it alive. Look at what IA is doing for Nashville, or the Eibach meet does for Cali. As of now, Atlanta has ....
