Seems tedious but I think I'll be doing it to mine very soon, with header still on the car though .

In the CRX there is plenty of room up front to get all the primaries, I could care less about the collector that hangs below the car, no one can see it

Great DIY, alot of work but the price you pay to make something look good.

If something is routinely cleaned then you should never have to go through those steps again...Nevr-Dull wadding polish works wonders on polished metal and chrome http://www.eagleone.com/pages/produc...=1006&cat=5006 Just tear off a piece and wipe as much of the header down as you can every time you clean under the hood then wipe off with a microfiber...5 minutes every once in a while is a whole lot easier than a removing the header and doing a full polish job by hand

It looks nice now, but how is that going to net you more "power"?

...but this thread is titled "cleaned my header", you said nothing about having a stock exhaust manifold before...

    Exactly.

"Cleaned my header" means you cleaned a header you already HAD, right? Then you said that not only did it look good, but you liked the power it made. Again, that lead me to believe you felt that after the cleaning it made more power some how. I merely asked how you got to that conclusion.
