rebulit my d15b, new rings, rod bearings, etc. and when me and my bud put it all back together, it ran ok but when u drove it, it would backfire like a s.o.b.
could this be timing issues? if so, how do i set timing?

Check the firing order.
500whp of spinnin fury!!!
did, its correct. we thought maybe dizzy? but my auto shop teacher said sounds like timing. but i no clue how to do timing, and have no way to take my hatch to a shop.
or if anyone could put a pic up of the firing order on the dizzy just to make sure i did it right. ?
Physical timing is set at the belt. The two dash marks on the cam gear go level with the head and the crank gear has an arrow that lines it up. Ignition timing is done with a light. Jump the scs connector and set it to 16*. Adjust the dizzy accordingly.
