    how much whp and boost can stock ls block handle with blockguard. just askin about the sleeves not pistons nd rods i have built motor. just not sleeved. just an info ??? thanks.

    also do ross pistons have a noise similar to rod knock but more like sucktion cup sounding?

    I would guess Ls sleeve's could handle up to 300whp daily, but probably no more than that(your sleeve life is all in the tune).

    already have the block guard i was told by scotty ls b series sleeves can handle no more than 500whp

    500whp is pushing it and i wouldnt do that unless it was a race only motor.

    400whp is about the safety limits for a daily driver. Cylinder Pressure is very high at those hp levels and stock sleeves can only handle so much.

    400whp MAX if you want it to last.

    bro i also seen in a book that you can get 500hp out of an stock b series block but its all in the tune an scotty does an great job

    It also depends how you treat your car, maintance service etc, an the way you drive, if you get on it every so often , or drive the shltt out of it every day , depends how long that motor last....400 like mike said max but if it was mine I would push no more then 250 daily thats me , up the boost once in a blue moon to around 300-350 max , thats me b/c I take care of my shltt
