Default Gran Turismo 5 Official international release date Nov 2 2010.

This is the first ever release date on GT5 that i believe as it is told by Polphony Digital and not some random guy trying to make his way up through Sony.

Nice, I was considering buying a PS3 yesterday and started looking for updates on this. I love Forza though because of Road Atlanta. lol

Will they have updates on this like on Forza to download?
Have you heard if say you run the 24 Hours of Le Mans (if it's on this game) if it will have the night/day thing? That'd be amazing.
    Will there be F1 cars?

I saw a track list on GTPlanet and was kind of upset, not many tracks at all or real tracks. No Monaco listed either?

They haven't listed information like that because Kaz hasn't. Tokyo Game show is the one that really matters.

You won't see complete car/track lists till the game is released.

pretty disappointed in what ive read about GT5 to this point. Still no tire marks or tire smoke which seems insanely stupid for a "driving simulator". I watched a side by side comparison vs Need for speed shift, which i dont even think is that great of a game and NFS looked better. The environment from NFS was what really stood out. GT5 looked like 1 tree model duplicated 1000s of times, to where NFS looked like a more realistic environment. The driving mechanics of GT games havnt felt good since gt2 either. Its nearly impossible to drive without TCS or assists. Car traction is stupidly fake. Without TCS on you do 7 mile burnouts that as mentioned above, do not leave smoke or marks.

I miss the used car list and variations of car models. GT2 had mustang, mustang gt, cobra, v6 saleen ect.... I liked that aspect of the game. When i first popped in GT3 and saw the puny car list and realized that i had to start the game driving a miata.. i was pretty annoyed. GT4 did nothing to regain my approval and i dont expect GT5 will be much better.

With that said..... I preordered GT5 the day it became available. Lets HOPE!!!!!!!

edit: If i dont like GT5 i'll be selling my PS3.

Good thing they pushed the release date back over a year so they could revamp it for the .005% of gamers that have 3D TVs.

I love FM3. But GT5 is in a totally different realm. Let's be realistic. FM3 was in development for about 2 1/2 years. GT5 has been in development for almost 6 years. I have grown into an elderly chap waiting on the damn thing. And yes I'm getting the $100 collector's edition to go in my car shrine lol. I'm sure the wait will be worth it. If not, I'm selling my PS3 as well because Metal Gear sold out to 360.
