Default Cost of registering a car in GA?

Does anyone know the rate at which cars being registered in GA cost? I'm working a trade with a guy in GA but he needs to get the car registered in GA in his name so he can in turn give me the registration receipt and a Bill of Sale so I can title it here in TN. It's an older car, a 1976, so it's exempt from getting a title to register it. That's why I need a registration receipt along with a Bill of Sale, since he didn't get a title.

It's not like that. There are a multitude of factors. County, year, make, model and back registration can factor in. That's not something you can answer like you want to know how much Wal-Mart sells a Samsung 50" TV for. Later, QD.

Oh ok, guess it's way different than TN. They just charge regular sales tax. If I pay $3000 for a car, it's just like I bought a $3000 item at the store and paid taxes on it, plus a $25 registration fee. Oh well, guess he'll have to call up the local office. Thanks.
