Default Need some more power for the F23A

I need to get some more power for my 99 accord with the F23A engine.
Already have cold air intake, dual catback exhaust, OBX 10.3mm sparkplug wires.
-Just orderd some dc 4-2-1 headers, and OBX hi flow cat

about to add a VIS- invader carbon fiber hood to lose bout 50lbs

what are some other bolt on parts that can increase the power?

For starters, your loosing power w/ a DUAL catback, secondly dont waste 600 on a hood that looks like garbage and does virtually nothing for your power to weight ratio

^^ur going for the obvious and basic stuff henry. 200whp doesnt do much with such a heavy car and 200 does sound a little too much for what you named. talk to me when you want to get a little more serious with ur motor henry

to add on to what he said....
    full synthetic oil
    new intake manifold
port and polish intake mani, head, and exhaust
3 or 5 angle valve job
new valves...intake and exhaust and springs
    machine and hone the block
go back to the single exhaust
    lightened crank
    lightened flywheel
    new clutch
    dry sump lubrication
    throttle body
if i think of more then ill post up for you.

your severly handicapped with the F23 motor. Not very much stuff available for it, and any amount of real money you spend you wont see very good gains.

they have a huge stroke, so revving the motor with a cam isnt a viable option.

For the price it will cost you for an intake manifold, cam, cam gear, tuning, header, etc, your better off switching to the H22 longblock.

you can pick up a low mileage H22 for around $900-1000. the h22 comes stock with 180whp(200hp) and they have way more mods available to them.

dont try an reinvent the wheel, get the H motor an youll be much happier

Thats what my Org idea was going to get a complete h22 with tranny and iv found them anywhere from like $1200-$4000 for the jdm h22a with 220hp.
i would have no problem buying a new engine, just i wouldnt kno where to go to get it installed and everything.?
    especially in the gwinnett.

K24 w/ the ep3 5 speed would be a nice Accord swap. should see a noticeable difference and have an enormous amount of potential to grow. Especially with the new stuff that is continually coming out for the K. It's now a bit more economical to purchase used K parts since the newer stuff is coming out and people always have to get the "newest" thing.

With regards to price, you pay for the quality work you get. I used a cheaper shop than I should have when I got my engine swap done, and almost a full year later, I am still trying to get them to fix their mistakes. The only reason I am still working with them is because of the "warranty" they provide and once they fix everything, I will be using a much better shop. A good job seems to cost a lot, but the "cheaper" ones can definitely bite you in the ass later.

Now, this doesn't mean that expensive = good workmanship, but it means research the shops and find a one with a good reputation and experience with your particular swap.
