Default Celica De-rice stage 1. PICS!! lol

Okay, I was at school tonight & my intial purpose was to take the big wing off. Though something said " do the roof". So me & a couple of my classmates, went to work on the roofscoop with a 36 grinder some hammers, & scrapers.

It took us 2 hours, but it's off, & wherever Keebs is I'm going to get him. lol There was all kinda shyt under there. Tons...TONS of fiberglass. It's empty now, so I'll be needing to get the sunroof glass back, as the mechanism still works.

Well stage 1 is complete, next will be replacing the sunroof, then the tail, then the paint job.

Well if anyone knows how to make these bigger, please feel free too. Well opinions welcome. lol....Vegeta

Yes, the previous owner removed the sunroof glass & fiberglass/bondo/cardboarded over it. Then put a roof scoop on top. After awhile the airflow, caused the sides of the scoop to start peeling/cracking.

We had been debating for awhile in autobody class about whether to just touch it up, or remove it completely. So last night we had a small demolition derby on the roof.

Thankfully, the sunroof was still intact & working properly, so I'm off to find the sunroof glass, then weatherstriping, ect & get the sunroof back proper. Then redo the top & repaint the car. I will try to take pics on my job camera of at least what it looks like now.....Vegeta

ahahaha, bet you had fun with that. I miss my like celi-ricer :P And as for the sun roof, it may not have been the best choice to deal with my problem, but I have Lupus and being exposed to direct sun light can make me very sick. I had original plans to just keep the slider thing closed but then I got bored and decided to mold it shut, then I get real bored and put the scoop on it lol, bet that was about a 100lb weight reduction :P

Current Toy: A few classics, maybe a few imports too. Whatever
