    Default Downloading from mini dv camera?

    I had absolutely no idea where to put this, so here it is. I have a panasonic mini dv camcorder and cannot get the videos to transfer to my laptop. i'm sure there are tons of you on here that know exactly how to do this. reps for help

    well i can download thru usb cable, but i can't get the windows media program to recognize the camera, or the camera to load, or....i have no idea!

    i had to buy a firewire cable to connect to my laptop, and it needs to be a 4 to 4 pin connector
