I bet there is one, maybe 2 drivers on this board that can reach the limit and even know where it is at of their WRX/STi. That is almost 100% driver skill.
My biggest issue is the people coming near me and sliding all over the place, then get to the top and say "Man I can't believe I was keeping up with your car"
People go up there and think they are some sort of god, cutting across double yellows to hit an apex, sliding around corners. It is a mountain cruise with some spirited driving. If you are going up there because you think people are racing each other then stay home. I will push hard in some sections and I will only do it with people I know, and know how to drive. I know they are watching mirrors, I know they have situational awareness. Not just switching lanes, shifting and braking in corners and whatever else they deem necessary so they can "keep up with that M3 on Blood Mountain".

if i order new tires they won't be in on time. I got good tires on my 19's, but my luck....1 is sligtly bent. I am just going up there to cruise, and won't be pushing it anywhere close to it's limit.

a weak singnal will do....all u need to do is hit the call button to warn us about. I have no clue where in the hell we are meeting up once we get there...i guess pick a gas station or restaurant as a meeting point close to the base of the mountain and roll from there.

well lets hear from someone local there....coz coming to 400 will be opposite for the 85 crew.
I live in Sandy springs and shoot up 400. Do we need to assemble a 400 crew? I am assuming the Walmart in Dahlonega is the meeting point? That's pretty much the last best spot to meet at the base thats big enough for a big group. There's also the Chevron at the end of 400 for those that need to get gas (usually me since I burn a quarter tank getting there)
I know 85 people can meet on PLeasanthill or by the Mall of Ga and cut across, Pleasanthill will probably be the best, just remember its a good 25 min from 400 and another 30-40 from the Walmart.
I can't wait people! I may even have to post pone my motor swap for this one
And up there radios are only as good as far as you can see. Police even have problems with radios up there, that's almost a good thing
But I don't think we need to worry about them. My main concer is going early and fog/dew being on the mountain

you monkeys (i.e. Ian) want to meet up at 8 am. on a sunday... up already in north ga. than means i have to wake up around 7am and leave 715 to be at the end of 400... wtf... hellz no... what time your up there doesnt matter. my350z crew is meet at perimeter mall at 10am... then driving up. Ian im not going if its that early. plus if you ladies want to have lunch leaving alpha/roswell area around 10(you know when people are awake on a sunday morning) you can have a nice mid day lunch in helan. ive said my piece sorry Ian im out its you want to have people meet up there already at 8 am.
on a lighter note anyone want to meet later say at the Alpharetta/Winward Walmart at like 10ish and have lunch mid mountain run?

well i guess since Ian is at barber motorsports park today im taking this **** over. the walmart is on the intersection of hwy 9 and winward parkway. basicly if you coming up ga 400 make a left on exit 11 and you really cant miss it. walmart is on the right, right after homedepot
