gt35 and a built bottom end...

i've been workin on a zc single cam for a little while now, i do plan on boosting it, and i was wondering what would be a good turbo choice for the application. i'm lookin for something around 350+whp (meaning if i hit 352whp then i'm done). i know i could get more, but i'm not worried about it, i'm just lookin for something i can play with since i already have a dd and a bike as a gas savers.
thanks for the info.
edit.
what are the differences between fuel injectors? i've been looking around for some 440's or 550's. should i get the saturated or what? which would be best for performance and reliablity? more so for reliability.

aye ess aye pee
its why i'm making it a weekend car. i have a 82 accord i'll be driving daily.....or really when its raining and i also have a 250 ninja that i'll be using for most of my dd since its so good on gas.Originally Posted by slovic-fcc
i thought the gt35 was rated for like 5-600+hp?
get a 60-1 and 550cc injectors. 440s will be at a very high duty cycle with a super high fuel pressure to reach 350whp

you put 350 hp on a stock single cam and I promise a rod will exit the block...Originally Posted by Tran
and that just means that they are capable of producing and operating at that amount of HP.... they will work with lower boost applications as well and they spool fairly quickly...
what year car do you have? i know some of the old hondas have peak and hold injectors and use a resistor box stock. i know the 94-01 tegs use saturated, and so do the 92-00 civics

i think 35r is too much for 350whp D.
its just the motor and tranny right now, but it'll end up in a 92-95 civic.Originally Posted by patrick4588
i will NOT be running the stock bottom end. i'll be up upgrading the rods, crank, bearings, and whatnot. but i will have the stock piston heads out of the d15z1 block. they seem to have a lowering compression then the stock b7 blocks. but to assist in that i will plan on installing a block guard to try and protect the bottom end, if something should go wrong. and i'm making sure i keep a spare block so if it does somehow go out, i have a back up.
i thoguht about using a gt2860r or a gt2871r with 440cc injectors. and since i would to keep a low key on me boostin i was gonna fab something up for a a/w IC.
Im making 350whp with a 35R on a stock H22. its big but im goin big soon! (built bottom end)Originally Posted by xdavidscenex
yeah i made 266whp with the 35r on a LS, could have made more but my fuel pressure starting dropping to 32psi.

your choice of turbo will be good for a not so laggy setup. you'll need at least 550cc, but i would recommend 650cc so you don't have to run higher duty cycles. get saturated inj so you don't have to run a resistorbox.
