Thread: JDMBEAU: BAD SELLER

  1. #1

    Thumbs down JDMBEAU: BAD SELLER

I purchased some srp pistons from him a little while back, he said there were only a few nicks on the tops so i said ok no problem, i asked him if they would affect the performance of it and he sayed no they will be fine, so the same night i paypal him the money and i get the pistons a little over a week later and the pistons are trash, it looks like someone threw them around or dragged them across the ground. I pm him and he tells me they were his friends so he says that his friend will email me soon (like a month ago) Anyways havent heard from him and jdmbeau doesnt like to return pms. Also, we met at the varsity to sell him some parts and i brought the pistons and he said he never really looked at the pistons, he said he only looked at one for his friend and he told him they were ok , but i showed them to him at the varsity and he said himself that the pistons weren't usable. Only thing i want is to get my money back and i will happily return the pistons but im not hearing anything from JDMBEAU and his so called "friend". Just want a refund!!

sorry to hear that. JDM bastard was gonna sell me a F22b1 head possibly along with the motor. I had the cash ready and wanted to set up a time, but since I was booked cus of my work schedule, I couldn't meet that week. Well, what do you know, suddenly he has a "buyer" and didn't inform me about the pending sale. . Sorry to say this, but you should be more careful about buying engine parts, especially pistons, valves, cams and etc.

hey dude, what did i tell you from day one, and WHAT DID MY POST SAY?

" THEY WERE BEING SOLD FOR A FRIEND"

EVERYONE knows i would not build a D series, and i DO NOT OWN ANY D SERIES TURBO PARTS. I GAVE YOU MY FRIENDS NUMBER MULTIPLE TIMES. AND TOLD YOU TO CALL AND DISCUSS IT WITH HIM, I TOLD YOU I WOULD TELL HIM YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK AND I DID. I am not going to nag on him. What was the paypal address you sent money to? My name is STEVEN ROBERT CARNEY, and EVERYONE KNOWS ME AS BEAU. NOT THOMAS.

http://forums.importatlanta.com/showthread.php?t=88989 - there is the thread it even states in there i was selling for a friend. now try and deny i gave you his number, you said it wasnt your responsibility that i "sold" you the parts, yet, i didnt see any money from it, so WHY SHOULD I take money out of my pocket, for a friend, when you EVEN PAID HIM.

blackCD5 its not my responsiblilty to hold items, someone called me, said they needed the motor, and i sold it to him.

The way i see it is if you were so concerned with getting your money back, then you would have filed a paypal report from day 1 to get your money back, reguardless of what someone says. i talked to you at the V when i bought the bumper, i told my friend NUMEROUS times the pistons were bad.

I fail to see where i am in the wrong here.

People need to stop selling stuff for their friends. It seems to be the source of many problems. Even if you are selling for a friend you MUST stand behind the product. You are responsible as you are the link between the buyer and the seller.

JDMBeau is your fault for not knowing what you are selling. You need to pay for it if you can't get your friend to.

really i dont care about the money. the guy paid 150, im just moving parts for a friend helping him out cause he has had a rough build. he did not ask to see pics before he agreed to purchase. i fail to see where i am in the wrong.

i asked if they were usable before i purchased and you said yes, then you look at them after i purchased and you said theyre not, how were you not wrong for that?

if you want to meet up with myself, AND Thomas we can discuss the issue in person, im no e thug, i fail to see when i posted they were for a friend, and when you sent the payment though paypal, it should be your respoibilty to get the money back. if you want it so bad, im sorry if you work at taco bell and 150 bucks is a hard come by.

will you quote what the thread says 3rd line down? please incase my vision is bad.

and also please post HOW MANY TIMES i gave you his number. at least i know of 10 times.

i dont blame you wanting your money back, it would be diffrent if you sent the paypal to [email protected], which is my email address, then i would be held responsible for returning your money back.

im not denying they were not trash, i told him to his face I WOULD NOT USE THE PISTONS, i did everything except hold my friend against a wall and threaten him with his life to return your money back.

you also took over a week to take pictures, so there fore how do i know you did not damage the pistons yourself?

i used my effort, if your friend said "no im not going to return his money" i doubt your broke ass would give him 200 out of your pocket.

but i am done posting in this thread until you say something that makes sense.

when you look at the facts all you did was pm me about pistons, and nag me about money i did not receive though paypal.

i did everything i could to get my friend to send you payment, but im not going to pester him, when its not my money or my business.

people can look down on me for this i dont care, im done selling on IA.

look dude the "broke" comments are rediculous. stop trying to insult instead of rectifying the situation. we could call you retarded cause you look like a South Park punch line on your fucking ID. there is no point to any bullshit arguing. the fact is, you sold them under your name, you are responsible for the results of the sale.

you could have easily asked for pictures, which then i would have gone to my friend taken pictures and shown them. you did not mention wanting pictures, you said how are they, i said i was told they are fine, you asked where to send money at, and i told you. you then sent money to him, and like a month and a half later you are bitching about it.

JDMBeau you are resonsible. It was sold under your name on IA, so you have to figure out how to rectify the situation. That is the price of doing a favor and having friends that are not trustworthy. Bottom line you have to stand behind sales under your name, you cannot jsut say "hey it's not me that's not my name."

because generally when buying used pistons they are worn little if any, and with new rings can be used without issue.

and there is no kicking beau when he is down, jonathan has been waiting for 2 weeks to post this thread hoping for a resolution first.
    Who knows?
