I told you I was a talker! Funny thing happened right after you left, it went something like this:
The 240 decided to get me last night. My father told me that she would smell the new engine on my hands and figured that she would grenade on me or something. She did one better and overheard me talking to you about the new engine and decided that I didn't need to roll up the driver side window!
I was at the Waffle House parking lot for another 30 minutes or so with the screw driver that I had to put the temp tag on the car trying to rip out the windows controls. I tried to jump some wires with a pair of keys until a combination of wires was a short to ground (read: spark). So I put it back together and left around midnight.
I get her home, looked up the wiring diagrams and figured it was the window amplifier, and ripped it out to fix it. I had already got the window up after I took it out by jumping the correct wires, but I wanted a fully functioning window.
So, I stayed up until around 1 am with the soldering iron an fixed the amplifier. Then I couldn't stop, now I had to figure out what was going on with the driver door speaker. To no avail, the door speaker amp was definatly fried because one of the speaker leads was off the speaker and had obviously managed to touch something it shouldn't have.
Now I just need to get some bulbs for the tag lights!
EDIT: forgot to mention that after I had shorted the wires for a nice light show, my climate control lights came on. Fixed to out of three problems even if one was unintentional.
