Is there not like a time limit for these kinds of things?

Not really going to need to be I don't think. When he refiles, and actually makes this court date....I think the judge is going to see it for what it is. He says this, the other guy says that and there is nothing on paper to back any of it up about the wheels. Add in the fact that he had well over a year to get them back and he missed his first court date causing money to be lost in the Justice System and it will get tossed out. :2cents:
wow Glides, you must be on a personal vendetta. There could have been many factors that caused me to be late to court, what if I got in a car accident and was injured? Fact is, I was late and it couldn't be helped.
I would refile right now, but it's not exactly free, and I'm waiting till February when I know I'll have more time on my hands.
Maybe you should re-read the whole story before drawing conclusions, and learn a bit more about our legal systems as well.
Just chking to see the status of this. We're you able to re-file and go to court?
I don't have to be on a personal vendetta to point out the obvious. As for knowing the Legal System, I know enough to know that if I schedule a court date to get my $2500 wheels back, I will fucking DAMM sure make it to the court date. Since you didn't know that much, doom on you homey. The only conclusions I drew are from this thread, and what you said. So if i'm drawing the wrong ones...doom on you again cause they are your words. And personal vendetta? I don't even know you, I am just making a conclusion from this thread...your words...so doom on you three times man.
1. You waited since over a year to ask for your $2500 wheels back.
2. You filed suit against Postscript and then didn't show up for the court date that you so vehemently fought for.
3. It's WAY past February. So we can only assume from your lack of update that you failed to refile the suit. I am sure that if you did, you would be chomping at the bit to let the naysayers, myself included, that you had actually gotten off your ass and done something.
You screwed up man. Had you done something MUCH closer to the time, or cared enough to actually secure your $2500 set of wheels before you let the car out of your sight....I would have sympathy for you. But you didn't, so I got none. I don't have a problem with you at all and if you get them back...great. But I highly doubt you will ever see those wheels or any money from them which sucks....but it's your own fault.
This thread popping back up like a Herpes spot is funny. It will continue to flare up forever it seems. Over 2 years since it happened and you still think you can get those wheels back? Comon man, chalk it up as a lesson learned and move on.
