i doubt it, i know i would have checked everything, before i purchase ANY car i always run a carfax. i mean its messed up the seller lied about that stuff, but its also a good precaution for yourself to check that kind of stuff out for yourself. i went to a private side dealership, asked for a carfax, looked at it, car 'appeared' clean w/ no history of accidents until i saw the VIN number didnt match, called him out on it, got the correct one and saw it had been wrecked before and it was from up north, needless to say i didnt get the car...point i'm making is, everyone needs to learn to cover themselves so crap like this wont happen w/ shabby sellers

he said the car wouldnt start cause the dizzy was bad so igot a new one and went to start it the engine turned over but made weird ass noises! and six7teen has the car and he found that all the ignition wires were all cut and shit which i didnt do! guess you cant take anyones word for anything these days
See, I didn't even know he told you that. He told me while you were unloading the jeep, all it needed was a battery. But didn't have the time to do it because of that court BS he had.

Ok, I went with Jason to help bring the car back. We get up their, and we have to follow this guy to the middle of fucking nowhere and wait on his slow friend to get done with some shit where we met. Keep in mind, we were (J-Rock and Myself) are in a F-250 with a long trailor pulling a big jeep in a town with hardly any room to move. Well, we start heading towards this guy's house, we finally get their after a good 30minute drive. When it was only suppose to be a 10 to 15 minute drive according to this Maki guy at the store. Ok, no biggy. We get to his house finally and park.
We proceed to check the car out. I looked over just about everything while Jason took care of the details and etc with Maki. Me and his friend (Also a member on here) are talking about the car. He told me, and I quote, "My buddy just rebuilt this motor and he bought this Da to get going and doesn't need this anymore".
I just knew something wasn't right. Although, I did tell Jason I wasn't sure about this deal, Jason though maybe the guy was an alright guy since he was being pretty cool. But we were wrong.
Then, maki, comes over and starts telling me about the car. Told me it had Tein lowering springs, which I looked up as soon as we got back to J-Rock's house to see they were fake, and that the motor had 0 miles. I asked if their was anyway we could start it up. Seeing as how he told me it needed a battery and it would start. His excuse was that he had court like 30 minutes later and the transaction needed to hurry up. I left the decision to Jason, seeing as how it wasn't my thing. He then proceeded to tell me about the car as Jason unloaded the jeep. Told me clearly, " The car has never been wrecked, had abunch of extra parts, and that it was an Si. I guess he though I was stupid. Of course I pointed out it wasn't and he was saying he didn't know much about it since he just bought it like 3 months ago. (Which we ust found out he had the car back in 07).
So everything is done, and he started to leave for court. We asked how to get back to the highway because we weren't familiar with the area. Told us to follow him and his dad because they were going to pass it. About 10 minutes down the road, they ditched us. I thought that was pretty fucked up myself. Well we decided to stop and grab some food and we talked about the car. End of story.
About a week later, Jason calls me asking if I knew why the car wasn't starting etc. Maybe seeing if I had any idea's why it wouldn't start. Told him I'd come over the next day or something to check it out. Well, he took the valve cover off or something and called me telling me about how shit was all in it etc.
Months pass, we didn't worry about it really. I still thought it was fucked up how he straight lied about the whole situation. I didn't waste my time looking for him on here, just thought maybe one day I would catch him on and ask him about it. Well, I did one day and I was almost certain it was him. So, I PM him about it and ask if it were him. Never once did I accuse him of anything. I just asked if he ever owned a primared CRX. He reply was, "No, but I had a red one. I sold it months ago". I let it go. But tonight I was bored and somehow the conversation got started between me and Jason. He found his Sn name name and this how it all got started.
Yes, I know its way late...But better late than never to warn you all about a bad seller and.... A piece of shit guy... Period. When you give your word something runs and then comes to find out, its shit. That means you, yourself are a piece of shit.

you forgot to say he wanted to drive the jeep but when we ask to strat the crx he sudenly had court! but he actually helped me out cause i now know what to look for when buying stuff! just glad everyone else ive done business with on here has been truthful and smooth transactions

hmm.. interesting to hear some of this stuff about MY car...
well, i can say one thing right now, the car WAS in a wreck.. it also looks to have been a fairly bad front end collision.. there were some places in the engine bay all curled up, and also part of the framework was pushed in.. (glad i got good friends who can do framework)
as far as the wiring,.. the ignition system wiring was definitely GHETTO!! im talking, terrible connections with no electrical tape.. also there was a TON of wires behind the dash just kind of ziptied up!
they werent actually wired to anything, just kind of chillin back there..
my biggest concern now is if the car has a salvage title or not... i guess im gonna find out when i go to get my tags and title..

Honestly man, we had no idea about all this. Was a big shock to us when we found his SN name and looked back on some previous threads, made by him awhile ago. I sent a PM to him with a link to this thread, I'm hoping his sorry ass comes and tries to talk some shit. The whole point of this thread was to warn people of this guy's BS.

umm not to burst your bubble but i didn't sell you this car, i sold this to my freind chris. Tall guy who sold it to you. i do not know you nor did i have any transaction with you. i believe you have me confused with chris.

ok one i didnt sell the mustang with the locked up motor a guy i know did whom im no longer friends with and second i told louis that i didnt know what was wrong with the car cept that i thought it was the clutch and i apologized many times for that! it was my first car and i was just learning how to work on a honda! you where with him and you didnt know either so please stop with this bs now its over and done with man
i believe he shipped off to basic a while back. i rebuilt the motor myself, (re-ring, hone, new bearings, new gaskekts) same old crank pistons and rods and head. bottom end rebuild actually. and yes it was wrecked, i bent the frame back out. im sorry that he screwed you over. i just wanted to clear my name.
Frame damage on a CRX? Id say that car has been totaled and your title is salvaged...
Frame damage on most any car is enough to salvage it, much less a CRX.
yes, unless he didnt report it to insurance.. with with the way some of this is turning out, nothing would surprise me now...
no the title is fine, it wasn't really the frame just the framing around the headlights, i can get before pictures if you want but the title is not salvaged. I dont know how much you paid for this but you can look and see the damage and most of it is fine and correctable. I only sold this car for 800 so i figured that was good when he bought it.
and can we change the title of this thread, i would like to think i am a good seller and have never had a bad transaction w/ anyone. kinda hurts the pride here

he never registered it after i sold it to him, he just flipped it i guess.
