i wasnt gonna post this til i got the response i got from him..
my buddy actually bought these lights an yeah i was there but it was late and the pix of the item didnt show any damage.. we paid sat item in trunk
sent him for tail lights, paid for those as well as gave him gas money to run back home an get them.
we shake hands say cool cool laterz and drive almost 2hours home.. my buddy drives a truck for a livin so wen i ask him hey u wanna put these lights in tonight?. he says na he dont need his car til friday... well tues he calls pissed..his dad is in the hospital (heart attack) an its dark... i say chill ill be there in ten and slap the lights in. he says with wat ducktape,? im like wtf jus hold on..
so i get there and each light has 1 tab for the bolt to go through one had 2 but it was jus superglued on. so im like ****.. so we put em in anyways go to get bulbs and jus a 2 mile trip to advance one bout falls out an the other is facing down.. the bolt hole that was left on each light bas not a hole but a "c" shaped (lil broke) so he borrows my car and goes to see dad..
now i got some fancy paperwieghts..
he got a ticket wed night tryin to make em work.. so he jus parked it.. now i finally hear back from buddy hes like yeah one halo was melted still worked..(it dont) and i had no problem with them in my car.. im thinkin wtfe... and all he can say is uhhh well sorry bout the lights.. i aint beggin him to make this right. but it would be nice we didnt spend much its the principle.
that we drove 5 hours that night an even gave him gas money (he lived 4minutes from meetup point) the lenses were nasty or i would caught the halo... my buddy an me somehow missed the boltholes ( was late at night) its jus the oh sorry bout the headlights and nothin else response..
i believed he had another set and other parts he could offer as a exchange knowing these were useless..
