    Thumbs down Haccord14.... bad seller

i bought his indash tv/dvd/cd player and it doesnt work. i got it form him a couple weeks ago. i installed it and got no sound. i thought it was something i did but the local stereo shop couldnt get it to play sound either. i called him and he tod me that it played fine for him. even said he was listening to it right befoe he removed it. i gave him the bennifit of the doubt and decided to rewire it to make extra sure i was right on my wiring. hooked it all up and took it back to the local stereo shop (they have a bench tester). they have had it all day and told me that they believe its in the main box. since the last time i spoke with him he hasent resopned to my PM's or voicemails's

did you try putting a different head-unit in your car and see if it works that way, because my suburban had a short in it and no sound would come out no matter what head unit i put in it. the display and everything worked fine, all the lights lit up on the hu just no sound.

hopefully you get it worked out though.

to me it sounds like maybe they are trying to work it out and the thing is electronics ARE fishy...i would never do any electronic trading UNLESS i hooked everything up first before payment

he keeps claiming that it worked before i got it but i didnt see or hear it. (stupid on my part i know). he's not going to do anything cause he said it worked for him and i messed it up. which the local stereo shop said that the "brain" of it has been taken apart so he took the top off to see anything looked outt place. there were a couple things he said that were tampered with. im sending it to a shop up north for them to look it over and fix. im in it to deep to just throw it out so.

all i can say is make sure it works before you had him the money or youll be in the same place as me.
