yea, there were 4 working cameras near the car, but the cop said he didn't see a white car in that spot at all, only a black Mercedes around that time. I think it might have been an inside job cuz someone had to have stopped the cameras.

they didn't let me view the tapes, said some shit bout liability, like if i was to view the tapes and recognize the person who stole it that i might go after them and they're gonna be held liable.
Then Thurs night, i got a letter from Clayton PD saying they've recovered the car on Tues at 4:54pm, yea a letter, they didn't even call me or anything. So the next morning i went down to the station, got release form then went to Wrecker Services and saw my car completely stripped, abs nothing. called insurance and let them take care of the rest

I hope everything works right for you, I feel your pain though. But obviously law enforcement doesn't; they don't realize how much people like us are attached to our cars & how much blood, sweat & tears are spent on them.

Law enforcement's are pretty fucked up. What's also fucked up is how people from the mall said that you couldn't view their cameras b/c you might recognize the person and do something and they hold the mall liable. That makes no fucking sense at all. If that was the case, then why aren't you allowed to hold the mall liable for your car being stolen?

It does seem like an inside job b/c your car hasn't been the first one to be stolen from that mall, and they've yet to identify anyone??

sucks man. did they detectives tried to get any prints off the car?? specially from the tool found holding the steering column.
also, thiefs must be from clayton county because you cannot tow a car in that shape for a long distance without people saying anything; and if you know the exact location of where the car was found, get a 2 mile radious and start your search. thats if you care about finding your parts. i would do this, if they get past my lowjack.
its just common sence.

btw, why tha hell did you take that car to the movies???
