HELP..... My friends wheels got stolen...

wednesday night somebody tried to break into my friends 2002 escalade and didnt succeed but they took his wheels, it happened at his appartment complex i cant remember the name but it is the one right off pleasant hill in between berkmar high school and ronald reagan pwy, behind the shell gas station. i know some of you have seen the truck around because we have been to the bp in pleasant hill.
well the wheels are easy to spot because they are 26" and not too many of those are seen around here, if you have any info just post it in here, if you can get a plate number it would help too, because after the police report was made, the officer said that if we see the wheels, all we have to do is get a description of the car and get a plate number if we can, and just give him a call so he can take it from there.
they are BIG wheels, so i dont think they will fit on anything but trucks and suv's such as escalades, avalanches, yukons, you get the idea, once againg thanks for your help.

thats why i live in a house.. apartments just get way too risky.

well, the truck is already paid for, and he just moved down here, thats why he is at the apartment, he couldnt get a garage because the truck is too big and wouldnt fit.

bad thing is even if you find them, wheels have no serial numbers, had a set stolen before and the detective said even if they found them there is no way to prove they are the same ones so just a heads up if you have nice wheels you should buy an engraving tool and make some marks on them to identify them
