Default Slicks vs. 345 street tire

ok so heres the situation ive came up on a deal for a full slick setup but i to thinking about something a buddy of mine said recently. we all know about my CCW setup and its 315 front tire and 345 rear tire i plan to have my stock fingers extended and all that other shit to fit the wheels but i was wondering which would be a better option heres how i see it.

with teh ccw's i got a good street tire there not heav and i dont have to worry about changing wheels or riding on illegal wheels on the street.

with the slicks i could put down better times and have alot better traction they dont look as good but they out perform my 345 street tires.

so opinions please cause im at a lose by the way the whole setup is 1200 or i trade my ccw's.

KEEP YOUR CCW unless the supra is only a track car. You can get slicks cheaper than you can get those rims. I say just put some BFG GFORCE (may not make it for your size) radials on the ccw now and by the time those nittos tires come out u will be needing new tires anyway

thought that and tried taking the wheels to discount tire but they said 345 is the smallest tire possible for the rims so idk but goo thought man.

yea if you go only slicks youre gonna be extremely limited in what kinda weather and how you can drive your car...........slightly wet roads and slicks = smashed supra
