My cousin's husband just killed a deer and is bringing some deer patties and deer sausages to thanksgiving tomorrow. I've never had a deerburger or even been hunting before but its something I'd like to try.

hey nitro ill swing ya some by as soon as i get it back next week. i killed it with my sons remington model 7. 260 caliber. i usually dont keep a beard with my job at our school but i decided to grow it out for a while.

most of the kids around here freak when they see my car, especially when a 37 yr old man comes climbing out of it! lol!

like i said though, im in the process of building a car with my son. 97 eclipse. everything done except paint and the custom sub enclosure. the sub enclosure is almost complete. hope to get it painted before dec. 5th. ill post pics soon.

lol. i was wondering when you were gonna show up. what took ya so long? definitely not a sport for everyone, but definitely a sport. almost as fun as chasing ghosts. believe it or not these whitetail deer can disappear about like a ghost. plus i hunt to eat the meat. i usually kill one deer a yr for the meat. i dont kill 12 deer which is the legal limit like alot of people do. but deer would take over if we didnt harvest some of them. just look at all the deer hitting our cars! so id rather take them out in the woods.

sport, hobby, passion, whatever you want to call it. but there is sport to hunting. sure i know the deer dont hunt you back but they are gifted with keen senses and can and do, elude hunters. i know its not a sport like racing or football, this i agree with you on, but there is a degree of competition between deer and hunter. ive been outsmarted by alot of them. but i know everyone doesnt like hunting and consider it non-sport so i respect your opinions on the subject.
