    It was shot at 1:1 life size then I cropped it a lil bit to make it look more than 1:1. I could use extension tube or teleconverter to increase the magnification to 2:1 or 3:1. 1:1 is true life size, 2:1 is 2x bigger, 3:1 is 3x bigger....Macro photography is fun, but it requires a lot of patience. You have to hunt and stalk those insects without scaring them away.

    Attach Raynox or Canon 500D lens to the front of your lens to get closer and higher magnification.
