    Default 4x5 Film Shot

Ok so heres a set up I was working on yesterday. I was using a Calumet 4x5 and a hot light with diffusers. The background was supposed to show a rising sun I painted, but it was too big, so i just wrinkled up the sheet to give it more shadows and emphasis.

This was my final for my photography class, Hope I get a good grade!

edited^, but thats the biggest I could get it without it getting pixilated, with it being a JPEG. The original is a TIFF, do you know how I can transfer it to import without changing it to JPEG?

Is that the full shot? like... thats how you chose to crop it and hand it in?

Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.

Are you scanning it off the negative? You should just be able to save it as anything you want though. Posting on a forum though will probably require using a standard jpeg though.

Yea it's scanned in, it was scanned to be approx. 11x14in at 300dpi but I did have to convert it to jpeg to get it on ia.

My Instructor told me to leave it the way I shot it, but there will be some cropping when I mount it because I'm putting a window mount on it.

And I take a photography program in the Gwinnett area, I'd rather not put up where I go on IA, you never know, lol.

just open it in photoshop as the "11x14in at 300dpi" tif file and >file >"save for web and devices" select .jpg... you should get an image that is huge = 4200 pixels wide by 3300 tall, optimized for web viewing... but really big on the web for viewing lol... It will also be about 5-8mb.

    Nice and contrasty B&W BTW
