    http://www.facebook.com/#/album.php?...6&id=577703479

Please rate the photos from 1 to 10.

Please try not to rate the photo by who is in it, but by what you think of the shot itself (composition, lighting, position, creativity, etc.)

I want to get an idea of what people like from my what I've done lately.

    Thank You for participating.

(If you know me or you like my work and would like to see new photos I add on Facebook, do add me on there.)

Would rather look at your portfolio on your website. Not facebook. But I will give it a look.

Edit: Most of your photos are amazing, few are handheld kodak quality. Over all your a great photographer with VERY good ideas.

My opinions on your portfolio (I am by now means a professional, or ever really want to be):

    1. Your "Tag/Watermark" Needs to be the same (or very similar) and in ALL your photos. Your losing a large amount of "professional look" in the photos that are lacking it.

1.5 I'm sure you know this, but, once again I would MUCH rather see these photos on your personal website with an all black border. I would NEVER send a future client or business to my facebook. Flickr...MAYBE... But you will go much farther on you website.
YES! I know facebook and flickr are great for reaching out into other businesses and people. But if that professional look is what your after? Add your banner, put your "Portfolio" Tab up on your website, and start handing out business/photography cards like there is no tomorrow.

    2. All of you photos seem to have relatively GREAT poses and in most cases, models. So you seem to know how to get a person to do what you need for a photo. (Which is very hard to come by AND do!)
    BUT!
"Please try not to rate the photo by who is in it, but by what you think of the shot itself (composition, lighting, position, creativity, etc.)"
THIS unfortunately does NOT work in the real world. The first thing people are going to look at is the subject. So if your subject is a heaping pile of shit...your going to have a few issues getting your client, boss, future boss, or whatever, to concentrate on your "Skills and quality"

    3. Some of your model still have some "features" that don't really appeal to many viewers eyes. i.e. Bumps, scars, rash, smooth skin, etc. Not saying you have to go all out and turn a ugly behemoth into something gorgeous, but these little things will help you SO much trust me. EVERY great advertisement, with beautiful models will ALWAYS have "perfect skin and shiny white eyes blah blah blah" but you may not be into that and may be on a "Look how you look and keep the photo as real as possible thing".....which is cool. You do not HAVE to do these things.

    4. If this is your TRUE portfolio! IMO there should be more variety of photos with different models. Viewers will become bored or irritated after seeing the same thing over and over.... BUT! Some people argue this fact a LOT. Some say "More of the same models with multiple poses" some say "More variety, with more poses" What I mean here is some of the shots are of the same model just doing a slightly different pose. This, is of course great for a feature or spread on this model, but not to great for a portfolio in my opinion. I would say a safe rule to go by would be no more than 2-3 photos of the same model.

All these thing GREATLY depend on, of course, who you are marketing to! Your "portfolio" should be VERY versatile and be able to change out photos VERY easily, depending on who you are sending/marketing it to. And once again... ALL of these things are very small easy things to fix.

Moving on to my opinion on photography:

1.The only thing that caught my eye in this photo is the lighting. Your "Fill light" or seems you reflector? does not seem to be pointing in to great of a direction here. Leaving your model with a seemingly black stripe on here body.
Could be a great photo though.

    2. Shadow/Highlight tool. ALWAYS leaves a glowing ring around something VERY important in your photos. No matter who you are. As well as dulls colors and contrast in things Photoshop thinks are too bright. (leaving you sky in this photo to brown and ugly)
I personally HATE this tool. So maybe i'm just going off on that. Sorry.

    3. The BEST picture you have for obvious reasons. GREAT photo.

4.Cool photo....but...i would leave it out. This photo does not even come close to showing your great skills.

I don't think I have much more to say (thankfully). Overall your photos are great, man. Just a few small nit-picky things and your on your way.
