    i got a new nikon d3000 for christmas, just dicking around with it. but let me know what you think.

    you may want to edit your title. there's about a $1200 difference in the price, and a major difference in quality lol.

    Quality is measured by the glass you're shooting with , not your body. Differences in quality when it comes to body starts to show in print, but not behind a computer screen.

    my brother got a d3000 too. he's loving it. im actually quite impressed how it looks for as much as it costs. its tempting me to buy one!!

    have fun with it....learn to use it in something other than auto mode and you will get some good results!
