I like the Skyline still shot, Sonny's evo side shot and the s-10

the 3 i don't find that great are the white civic facing the camera showing the front left side of the car, the silver rig shot evo ( it just feels blury, but then again maybe im a lil drunk) and last but not least the silver still s2000 shot. Hope I could help I don't know hardly anything about photography.

I like the Corvette with the birds (EPIC).
I like the profile shot of the white civic with CCWs.

I dislike the R35s detail shot.
I dislike the S2000 interior long exposure. (No interior detail looks somewhat amateur)
I dislike the 'just the wheel' shot of the civic.

i'm surprised at how unanimous this is lol. i agree with the above posts. that GTR detail shot is just bad because the subject isn't top notch. the paint is all orange peely and the plastic is not pristine. and there's one gray s2000 rig shot that's really bland. anyway... site is good stuff.

im pretty surprised as well but this is what i hoped i would get. im going to leave the site as is for a few days cause i want some more opinions though.

I just scrolled down to the bottom before looking at everyones answers so I could give an unbiased opinion. All the pics look good, you have some nice skills.
Best (IMO):
1 Skyline still
2 S2K rolling Shot
3 The closeup of the exhaust tip in the picture after Clarks Supra
3 (Tie with above) Clarks Supra. Perfect timing to capture moment of launch!

Worst:
300M Tailight closeup
Civic Si front cornering shot, may need a little more angle
White Z still shot

Disclaimer: I am not a professional. These opinions belong to me and me only. I would like a picture from inside my Integra when I launch at the Christmas tree that looks kinda like the S2K interior moving shot. Thanks!

Amateur Opinion

Edit: also did not look at others posts, and YES get on flickr and join Automotive Photographers for Hire, if you havent already, and put up some of these shots!!

4 Best:

Skyline - Fantastic Composition, Crisp but easy on the eye, No unwanted reflections in paint, I believe that dusk and dawn are the best time to shoot black so good time choice.

350Z Rig Shot - I like the color palette, looks like you desaturated *if so, good choice*... but something feels off with the motion blur, did you add some more post shoot?

2nd Z06 - Again, perfect composition. Love the birds. Sunlight adds contrast without drawing eye away from subject like in first Z06 shot.

Last Evo Shot - perfect composition, crisp, no bad reflections, background colors made subject pop.


Least Favorite

1st Evo shot - Like the color palette but the shot feels plain. looks like its started out as a wide angle profile shot and then distorted back to normal... could just be me, but something feels off.

1st Z06 - feels like the sun takes away from the car.. my eye keeps getting drawn to it.

350Z corner shot - feels plain, I feel like the crisp white car against the red background would make for an epic shot, but it just feels like its missing something. Maybe a different angle, focal length, or DOF...?

SI Wheel closeup - compare to the 350 wheel closeup. Looks like the 350's wheel shot was well thought out and composed whereas the SI just has the wheel dead center with some body panels around them.

ditch the second pic, the supra launching, and the exhaust pic from the second page.

everything else looks decent.

edit: i guess if you wanted to tighten up things even more- ditch one or two of the other evo's. its overwhelmingly evo-heavy.

meh on the
300 brake light, the exhaust tip shot, and the rolling back/side shot of the s2k

350 in motion, good motion and good detail
evo with nice sky, really good (suggestion: crop/come in closer with car more too the left and get that pretty orange tree in it)
mustang in motion, nice fireworks!
s10 in motion

dont:
s3000 w dark background, is good but looks too psd
vet in front of fence with shadow cast over it, the car is too flat, but nice pic
s3000 in motion, not digg'n the angle, but has some good detail for motion
