    DAMN, that had to be one hell of a turn....was the car loaded bags of cement or something?? I can't see wheels just braking like that, even though rota are pretty cheap quality but still.

    every company has wheel failures, that's the first Rota i've seen broken. so toyo RA1 race rubber + defective wheel= broken.

    I've seen a post where a factory corvette wheel failed due to being powder coated. That rota looks powder coated as well. cound be the problem. it had something to do with the heating process causes the wheel to loose some strength.

    the temperature for powdercoat isn't high enough to cause fatigue in the material.

    The first batch of rota subzero's a few years ago were doing that and the same thing was happening on autocross courses.
