    took a trip out to the monastery here in conyers today to take some pictures cause it was such a pretty day. i stepped in alot of duck poo and 2 of the big ones keep trying to attack me

    great pics. i love ripples around the ducks in the water. duck shit is gross though. its like playing golf at a course with a pond...the goose shit is imminent. nice bokeh too! 2.8 im guessing for a lot of those?

    thanks dude. yeah all were shot with the d50 and sigma 70-200 2.8 lens. i stay'd around 2.8 to 3.5 most of the time.

    Other than that, pics are RAZOR sharp. Any PP on those?

    I would also challenge you next time you shoot, to take advantage of their long necks and shoot some in a "portrait" format rather than landscape. We often get lazy shooting everything in landscape.

    that shit is freaky looking!

    there was some PP on them. a tad of smart sharpen in areas and basic collar adjustments. nothing too crazy.

    dude it didnt even cross my mind till you said something about shooting portrait, im sure ill be back out there again soon and i will give that a shot. damn good critique, thank you.

    Get a vertical grip and you will never think twice about shooting portrait style again. I love mine.

    Try shooting cars in portrait layout. Lots of great possibilities!

    yeah it was cropped but i did shoot it on portrait. the only reason i cropped it is there was too much space infront of her, i wanted her eye to be dead center of the frame.

    i keep trying to avoid buying a grip for this d50 cause i was to upgrade to the d90 but everytime i get close i got to pay a bill or something stupid
