I travel a ton. I've been to 6 countries (and I haven't been to Mexico or Canada yet) and nearly 30 states. Hell, I'd been to 20 states by the time I was 21.

No Crete yet. I'm going to plan a trip there one summer. The Samaria Gorge was not open in March and some of the museums are closed for the off season as well so I thought I would plan that later.

I didn't climb the Duomo. Got there too late one day and then next day they were doing something inside and not letting people in. There was a huuuuuuuge line so i think they were going to but no way was I standing in that with the rest of Florence around me to see.

Glad to see that the Duomo isnt under construction anymore. When I went, the top was under a green tarp and scaffolding. Did you have time to climb the Duomo in Florence?

If I lived in Europe... I would probably have been to every country in the continent years ago. lol. Getting on the train and just going is so easy. I especially loooooove high speed train travel. I think I've accomplished a decent bit since my nearest country visited was an 8 hour plane ride.

I'm in the mid to high 30's on states but only 3 countries and never been off this continent

Composition is perfect on all those shots! What camera? I have people e-mailing and messaging me from every where asking my advice on what point & shoot or DSLR to get but I don't research them enough to know what's out there.

Rebel XS with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens.

You know as well as I do though, no matter what you buy, you have to learn how to use it for it to be worth a damn. I always hate it when I see someone with a 5D or something and really bad pics taken on auto. I'm like dammit.... trade me, please. Actually, I've contemplated buying a full frame SLR but for me the problem is portability. I carry my camera around so much, I don't know if I can take anything much bigger and heavier. Walking around a city or at the track for 8 or 10 hours with a camera over my shoulder gets really tiresome.

ohhh haha! That explains it!! Rockin' a DSLR with an 'L' lens.

I've decided my next body will the the 5D Mkii. I don't know how much of my soul i'm going to have to sell to get it but I'm riding on the edge or contemplating and dead set. Having a job would help too lol!

19 countries, Tahiti this summer will be my 20th!

Its cheating though because I lived in France and in Asia, so it was close by..

I love to see other travelers.. People that don't travel (not because of financial reasons) piss me off.. ie. George Bush..

How could you go to Italy and not hit up Venice? One of the most beautiful cities I've ever been too. Those pics are awesome, I wish I still even had my pics from rome, they all were obliterated with a crashed hard drive years ago, I'll just steal yours since we saw most of the same stuff there

I wonder if I'm the only one on here who's been to more countries than states? I've even got Frog beat by a few, I think last time I counted I'm at 27 countries and 23 states.

Me too but unless you're really trying to experience another culture, most touristy stuff can be had in america. We've got beaches, mountains, deserts, rural country, urban city, and large regional/cultural divides across the nation. We just dont have 800 year old cathedrals and monuments on every street corner like most of europe.

Wow I have rarely ever ran into someone that has beaten me in countries.. Props to you and much respect!

Yup, and when I travel, I try to stay away from the touristic places.. Beside the absolute "musts", I like the to see/experience the real culture and for example, go to restaurants where the people from that region go to.. Not the Europeanized/Americanized places..

My pics looks fake?? Well... they're not

I didn't go to Venice because it was the rainy season there and it was a bit chilly. I'll get there though. Not like I'm never going back. I try to do something different every time I go to Europe and this time I stayed south (except Paris but I kind of had to go there), tried to stay warm and then hit up the auto show at the end.
