Just added an external flash to my inventory. SB600 to be exact. just sucks cause the D40 cant control it wirelessly so i gotta get a cord or a wireless trigger or something like that, or upgrade to a D80 or 300 soon. Anyways, heres a couple test shots. Yes i know theres a smudge on the phone, im not trying to print this or anything. Just testing it out

Anyone know how to battle the striations that come with taking pictures of screens like this?

The First Image was taken with the kit lens at 26mm, the second one is a 100% crop of a pic using the 50mm f/1.8. I dont know if photobucket messed it up or what but the raw image looks a hell of alot sharper on my computer before uploading it to photobucket
