    Default analyze this picture for me

    Can someone please look at this and tell me what kind of editing was done to this picture to achieve the results shown?

    looks like they darkened the shadow levels and messed around with the contrast.

    or they could have duplicated the layer & darkened it & used either overlay, or hard light for the blend mode...

    what graphics program do you use??

    Anyways, op, becareful how you use the shadow/highlight feature cause you can really mess something up with that. rule of thumb for pretty much any photoshop feature: less is more

    see i use photoshop 7 and paintshop pro 10 ... i've never used CS but i'm sure the basics are the same

    shadow/highlight tool will fucking rock you're face off.

    not an AMAZING example as this is mostly sharpening but it can really create some crazy colors and bring stuff out

    they obviously warmed it up with a warming photo filter.
    sharpened a tad
    and like Mr. Clean said they added some highlights.

    Id have to say he darkened the highlights, lightened the shadows, threw a warm filter on it, added some contrast, sharpened it and obviously cropped out the dead space on the right and the bottom..

    yeah, i knew he didnt take that pic, i was just offering up advice before he went and cranked up the shadow highlights bar to 100%
