    Default Olympus DSLR info needed.

I have been looking at the E520 to upgrade my E500 and wondering if anyone has any experience with the Evolt's or comparisons in real life.

I am also looking at another camera as well so these are 2 different purchases all together.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

I use an E-1 at my job and its nice other than the autofocusl. the af is a little slower than I would like but from what I have heard about the E520, its supposed to be pretty good. I think the 520 is a great little camera.

Thanks for the input. Most of the reviews I have found argue it against the Rebel XTI for some reason and I like my rebel. I haven't shot with it in a while but when I get the 520 I think I'll brush the dust off and do a personal comparison.

The 510 got better reviews than the 520 on consumer reports.. they tested all kinds of stuff including durability and photo quality and stuff... that's why I got the 510.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

seems a bit novelty to me.

if you go slr in my opinion, go with one of the 2 major brands.

that way if you decide to upgrade your glass you have plenty of options. does olympus even have high end glass?
