a few farm photo's
ok i was at a friends farm and was bored. i had my camera with me and took a couple of pic's. shot with a nikon d40 with the kit lense and the first time i have used the manual setting. shot at about 3:00 pm with the iso set at 200. any and all comment's welcomed good/bad. i need all the help i can get.

best thing to do is number you photos so people can refer to them easier.
#1 i would have cropped the green fence pole out the picture, made sure not to chop his ears off and waited till the horses behind him GTFO. id also use the clone stamp in photoshop to get rid of the white buildings and power pole in the background.
#2 the barbwire going through the middle of the photo bothers me
#3 i like this one, great idea but you should have placed the wire below his head. rule of thirds, it is important.
#4 love the FOD of the barbwire, where it is out of focus and goes into focus, very cool. use the clone stamp tool in photoshop to get rid of the white building in the background. should have got ears to the bottom of the jaw though.
#5 color looks a little off, but over all the best of the bunch. i like the angle it was shot from.
try to avoid shooting in such harsh sunlight as well, the light will be much less harsh at dusk.

so when you say high res. you mean original size or bigger? sorry kinda new to photography.
yeah i wont shoot unless its at dusk, cause if i shoot during harsh sunlight i end up trashing them all lol
over all they are decent, it bother me about all of the animals heads not being in the picture
